Every member of the team works with exotic animals every day. That focus makes the small things easier to see, and easier to explain.
Dr. Valdane has 21 years in practice, is board certified in avian practice and kept her first cockatiel at age nine. Before opening Lorikin in 2017, she spent twelve years at a bird and exotic referral practice.
Dr. Amundsen focuses on rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. He performs most of the rabbit spays and dental work at the clinic.
Dr. Brennt focuses on reptiles and amphibians, and shares her home with eleven reptiles of her own.
Jamal can hold a macaw for an exam without a feather out of place. He helps keep every patient calm, warm and closely watched.
